Event Details
Come through for a joyful night of connection, storytelling, and celebration of the mixed Asian (hapa) experience with local author Ingrid Hu Dahl of Sun Shining on Morning Snow and special guest Diana Stock, co-founder of Studio Stockhome.
In an intimate fireside chat, Diana and Ingrid—both mixed-Asian creatives—will explore themes from Ingrid’s memoir Sun Shining on Morning Snow, a bold and lyrical story of identity, queerness, grief, and finding your voice. Together, they’ll reflect on sisterhood, cultural hybridity, and what it means to create art at the intersections of race and self-acceptance.
This gathering uplifts the voices of mixed Asian-identifying folks navigating the in-between—whether you're fourth-gen, newly exploring your roots, or somewhere in between. ✨
Enjoy drinks, light snacks, books for purchase and signing, and a space to be fully seen.
This evening is the spark of a potential Hapa Club—a place for solidarity, shared stories, and mixed-Asian magic in the Bay Area and beyond.
Come sip, connect, and celebrate all of who you are. Let’s build this beautiful space—together.
